DR. DAN HILL, our Senior Pastor and Pastor of Christian Education, grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona, and graduated from Arizona State University after serving in the U.S. Navy. Dan received his masters degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. from the California Graduate School of Theology. Prior to coming to Southwood in 1990, Dan pastored in Prescott and Phoenix, Arizona and in Hope, Arkansas. He was also the Bible editor for Alpha Omega Publications and wrote a number of their Bible study books. Dan and his wife Patricia were married in 1970.
