Tapestry is an active women's ministry at Southwood Bible Church in which women share their talents, spiritual gifts and life experiences with one other. It is the goal of Tapestry to fulfill God's purpose stated in Titus 2:3-5~
"Older women teach what is good..to encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children...and to be workers at home...that the word of God may not be dishonored."

You + Me = 31! Does the Proverbs 31 Woman really exist?! We can encourage one another as we share our talents and abilites with other women that need help.

Spring Retreat 2007: We are planning a Ladies Retreat for the weekend of May 18th at LaHoma, a campsite in Tahlequah. We're bringing in a guest speaker who will be teaching and encouraging the women using Titus 2:3-5 as a guide. The cost for the entire weekend is going to be approximately $30 which includes food and lodging. More details will be available in the church bulletin, and in the upcoming weeks. One Accord Prayer Ministry

The women of SBC are actively involved in praying for one another. We use an organized format for prayer that is similar to "Mom's in Touch International", which includes Praise, Confession, Thanksgiving and Intercession. This form of prayer has absolutely revolutionized the prayer lives of many of the women at SBC! We are in awe at how God has used prayer to change our own lives, and the life of our church!
